What’s the difference between Next Gen vs. Classic Editions?
Both editions follow the same great system for learning, so students can move back & forth between them … depending on the device they have at their disposable and/or the chapters they wish to do.
The Classic edition is our original, award-winning, interactive e-binder, designed to work on computers, laptops and Chromebooks. It covers the complete curriculum of 27 chapters and also includes printables and the summative/diagnostic tests (which reside in the Teacher e-binder).
The All-New Next Gen edition is our latest innovation launched for the 2016-17 school year. It’s designed to work on a broader range of devices including: iPad/tablets, Chromebooks, laptops/ computers, and smartphones using modern browsers and operating systems. The 2016/17 release included 9 chapters (Ch. 1-7, Terms, Solfege) and our 2017-18 edition will add 7 more chapters plus Ear Training. Next Gen also houses our new Play That Tune feature.
